Friendly. Welcomes AI-assisted work.
AI-assisted PRs are accepted if the contributor reviews all generated code, understands and can discuss it, and submits it as their original work under the CLA. AI-generated issue text and PR descriptions must be verified and edited, and unsupervised agents may not post in the issue tracker.

In their own words
Code contributions
You must review all AI-generated code before opening a (non-draft) PR, and before requesting re-review of any updates to the PR.
You must understand and be able to discuss the code in the PR.
This does not prohibit the use of coding assistance tools, but what is submitted needs to be the contributor's original creation.
Issues & bug reports
Do not run an unsupervised agent that posts triage comments to the issue database.
AI tools may be helpful for specific tasks, such as creating reduced test cases or identifying potential duplicate issues, but you must verify their output.
AI-written text
You must verify the accuracy of any AI-generated text you include in the PR description or review discussion comments.
