napari
A fast, interactive multi-dimensional image viewer for Python.
Mostly friendly. Welcome, with extra rules.
Any tools, including AI, may be used, but contributors are responsible for their changes and must understand, read and test them. AI agents may not submit PRs. LLM-written messages are acceptable if the author has read and stands behind them, with quoted LLM answers marked as quotes.

In their own words
Code contributions
You may use whatever tools you like, but you are ultimately responsible for the changes you submit.
Do not allow AI agents to submit PRs for you, and do not submit an AI-generated PR you haven’t personally understood and tested, as this wastes maintainers’ time.
AI-written text
If you use an LLM to write a message for you, it remains your responsibility to read through the whole thing and make sure that it makes sense to you and represents your ideas concisely.
Don’t ask an LLM to generate a PR description on your behalf based on your code changes, as it will simply regurgitate the information that’s already there.
